Recognising the importance of its connection and service to society, the Cyprus Police Academy organises relevant actions and activities:
Community Service Days
Within the framework of their training programmes Police Recruits and Fire Service Recruits engage in organised activities which aim at serving the community in various ways, for at least two days, during their courses.
First Aid
The Cyprus Police Academy coordinates the training of Cyprus Police members in First Aid so that they are able to provide First Aid to distressed persons at a time of need, for the benefit of society.
Blood Donation
The Cyprus Police Academy coordinates the donation of blood by members of Cyprus Police by organising Blood Donation Days in accordance with the needs of the Blood Bank.
Access to the library
Members of the public may use the library of the Cyprus Police Academy daily, from 7:30 to 14:30 hours as visitors, without having borrowing rights.
Provision of Training
Within the framework of its services and contribution to society, the Cyprus Police Academy provides free training in subjects and areas within its competency to organised groups in society and Municipal groups.
Environmental Protection
The Cyprus Police Αcademy has adopted practices which promote the protection of the environment, such as the creation of a green point as well as the use of recycling bins at various points within its premises. Specifically, it promotes the recycling of paper, batteries, metallic apparatus and devices, plastic and glass.
