The Criminalistic Services Labs are accredited with international quality standards, as required by the European Union and ENFSI. The Physical Sciences Forensic Laboratory, Laboratory of Security Documents & Printing Methods, Forensic Handwriting Examinations Laboratory, Criminalistic Examinations Laboratory, Fingerprints Laboratory and Fingerprints Detection Laboratory have been accredited with ΕΝ ISO 17025 standards by the Greek Accreditation Body, ESYD, whilst the Photographic and Graphic Laboratory still awaits the relevant ENFSI Working Group to decide upon the appropriate Quality Standard to be set for accreditation.
