A person from the provisions of Sections 5 and 32 of the Law, who reports violations, has the right to protection under the provisions of the Law if:

- He has reasonable grounds to believe that the information about violations he reported was true at the time of the report and that the information fell within the scope of the Act (Sections 4,31.)

- Filed a report, either internally as provided in Section 7, or externally as provided in Section 11, or made a public disclosure as provided in Section 16.

- In the event that a person reported or published information about violations anonymously and subsequently identified and is retaliated against, he has the right to protection, provided he meets the conditions defined in the Law.

- A person from the provisions of Section 5 who reports to the relevant institutions and other bodies and organizations of the EU, violations that fall within the scope of the Law, has the right to protection, as defined in the Law.
