For better co-ordination and more effective planning of police policy the Unit operates an internal Office for dealing with issues related to the European Union. This Office deals with the following:

• Legal Migration

• Illegal immigration

• Asylum

• Checks at Legal points of entry/exit

• Cooperation with EUROPOL

• Statistical Reports and Data related to Aliens

• Handling and use of E.U. documents related to the Aliens & Immigration Unit
