The Vehicle Engineering Unit is responsible for the maintenance and repair of police vehicles.

Repair works include preventive maintenance, clutch and timing belt replacements, engine and gearbox overhauls, electrical and bodywork repairs, tyre repairs and replacements.

Moreover, the personnel of the Vehicle Engineering Unit are responsible for preparing specifications and evaluating tenders for the purchase of police vehicles and mechanical equipment.
