The Traffic Branch is housed at Lefkosia Police Headquarters and it includes the Office for Patrols, the Traffic Accident Investigation Section, Road Safety Office, Police Reports Office and the Divisional Transport Section.
Briefly the Traffic Branch is responsible for traffic controls, investigating traffic accidents and offences, conducting lectures and seminars on Road Safety and preparing reports on traffic accidents. The diverse work of the Branch can be briefly defined as all actions taken by its members that aim at ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and the safe transport and movement of members of the public.
