A person from the provisions of Sections 5 and 32 of the Law, who reports violations, has the right to protection under the provisions of the Law from retaliation, threats or attempts at retaliation through a series of actions.
The law also provides for specific measures to support such person, while under conditions this person can be considered as a witness in need of assistance and at the discretion of the Attorney General can be included in the plan to protect witnesses and associates of justice, and the provisions will apply of the Witness Protection Law.
